There are two ways to accept donations through your auction site:
Option 1: Use the Built-In Donate Button
Toggle on the built-in "Donate" button via Auction Setup > Default Auction Preferences > go to the Disable Donations field and select Yes or No.
The built-in Donate button appears in your auction site's navigation. Bidders can donate the preset recommended amounts or enter a custom amount.
Donations are added to the bidder's cart, and they can check out and pay at any time.
Bidders can remove donations from their cart before checking out.
You can track all donations through Bidder Management in the Donations column.
Option 2: Link to Your Existing Donation Button
You can add a link on your auction homepage that directs bidders to an existing donation button on your organization's external website. No follow-up is needed, as bidders will complete the checkout process via your external link.
