How to Add a Ticket or Fund-A-Need

You can add tickets (event admission, fundraising draws, merchandise, sponsorships, experiences, or Fund-A-Need donations) directly from your dashboard.

Last updated on 13 Mar, 2026

1. Go to the Ticket section
From the left-hand menu, click Tickets / Fund-A-Need, then select Add Ticket.

2. Enter the ticket details

Ticket Name – Enter the name of the ticket (for example: Event Admission, Fundraising Draw Entry, or Fund-A-Need Donation).

Description – Add any details you want bidders to see about this ticket.

Starting Amount of Tickets – Enter how many tickets are available.

If you're unsure, it’s best to enter a higher number so tickets don’t accidentally sell out.

3. Choose the ticket type

The system offers several ticket types:

Admission – Event tickets (individual, couple, dinner option, etc.)

Complimentary – $0 tickets used internally to track attendees (these are automatically hidden from bidders)

Fundraising Draw (Raffle) – Sell draw entries, and the system can randomly select the winners

Paddle Raise / Fund-A-Need – Record donations to attendees’ invoices (often used internally but can remain visible on the site if desired)

Other – Used for items such as sponsorships, merchandise, experiences, or table sales

Examples of Other tickets include:

Sponsorship levels or reserved tables

Merchandise (for example: hats, shirts, etc.)

Experiences with limited seats (such as Dinner with a Chef for 10 guests at $25 per seat or Pizza Party with Ms. Smith’s class)

4. Hide the ticket (optional)
You can select “Hide Ticket from Bidders” if the ticket is meant for back-office use only.

5. Set pricing tiers (optional) - think 50/50 tickets
If you'd like to offer discounts for multiple purchases, you can create pricing tiers.

Example:

1 entry for $5

3 entries for $10

If you're selling tickets at a single price, you only need one pricing tier.

6. Save your ticket
Click Save to add the ticket to your Ticket Management section.

Adding an Image

Once the ticket is saved:

Go to Ticket Management

Check the box next to the ticket

Click Set Image in the top menu

Upload your image

Helpful Note

The system does not generate printable tickets or assign ticket numbers. When someone purchases a ticket:

They receive an email receipt

Their information is automatically added to Bidder Management
